DS4Windows is a portable application that is the original application called DS4Windows which allows you to connect your PlayStation 4 DualShock 4 controller to Windows over Bluetooth and can be used to play games using it.
The program has several different settings and can be configured to map different controller buttons and features to functions on Windows; for example, using DS4Windows to play a racing game would certainly be possible with this application.
The program is divided up into different profiles and also includes 'Auto Profiles'. A bunch of settings can also be configured with DS4Windows like checking for update automatically, flashing the lightbar if there's a high latency, perform quick charge and several other application-related features.
DS4Windows can be used to import games from your Steam library in order to create custom profiles, profiles which retain settings depending on the game that's currently active.
All in all, DS4Windows is an excellent tool which adds full functionality for PS4 controllers on Windows, much like Microsoft has provided for its own Xbox controllers.
